Here are a few submissions to Found Magazine.  Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend.

Lost Turtle
FOUND by Nathan Golub in Redwod City, California
“Probably Escaped Fall 2001” is very vague. How long before you realize your pet turtle is missing? Also, the description pretty much fits every box turtle I’ve ever seen. I wonder if they had people bringing them wild box turtles, thinking they were a lost pet. Would Kira be able to distinguish her turtle from other turtles? The drawing is excellent.
Pee In Your Laundry Basket
FOUND by David Gonzalez in Los Angeles, California
I found this at the MOCA information desk.
A Love Unrequited
FOUND by Molly in McKenzie Bridge, Oregon
Found in the mail at the Ranger Station where I work.
and finally…
Table Scraps
FOUND by Joanna Wilbur in New York City, New York
One morning, while headed to class, I was waiting at the crosswalk on 23rd street and eyed a pile of books resting on a trash bin. Sitting on top was a framed picture of Mel Gibson… so of course I had to take it. It was only later, when I took the frame apart, that I found this hiding underneath. I don’t even know what prompted me to open the frame, but I’m glad I did. This is the REAL find.
